Disney Princesses and Villains
This idea came into my head when I was on a website called Pinterest and it's full of different photos, posters,DIY's and tips for every day life and I have found a lot of images of Disney Princesses but they weren't all innocent like they are in the films, but they were either wearing punk/rock clothing or had a lot of tattoos or piercings and different color hair,so after seeing those images I wanted to do a Disney themed photo shoot with my own take to it and that is also a reason I did a Disney Villains photo shoot, I wanted to make them look different than they really are.
These photos were taken for the model herself, she needed them for her art project but I have decided to use them as a part of my project because I think she looked very evil and in the photo shoot she was going to be Cruella De Vill from the film 101 Dalmatian and I thought that in this photo she looked like Cruella and decided to put them in here.I think in the second photo she looks evil and almost mad, because her hair is all messed up and her hands are up in the air and I think it's a really good sample.
After doing the photo shoot, I wanted to do a little bit of editing in photoshop because I wanted the darker parts of her face to be a little bit more darker such as her eyes and hair. So the first thing that I did was open the file that I wanted in photoshop and then I have chosen the Spot healing brush to get some of the red patches on her skin that were visible to me.
I have also used the Sponge tool to edit the redness on her nose even though it wasn't very noticeable to other people, I still decided to edit the photo so it looked the way I wanted it to be.
After finishing all the editing of the models face, I decided to make the photo a little bit more darker but also vibrant. So I clicked on Image,Adjustments and Levels and a little table came up on my screen after I have pressed it. On that table there are 3 main colors that the photo has, black, grey and white and by changing them will make the photo either darker or lighter and for this photo I have mostly used the black side of that grid, because I wanted it to have more depth to it and for her hair to be a little bit more darker that the original photo.
